Hello October!

and hello wonderful students and parents!

I hope this finds everyone feeling great, having mostly recovered from the onslaught of back to school germs and the general feeling of *a lot* that comes with September. We've had an amazing fall so far at the studio and it's such a treat for us to see your faces every week. Thanks for being here!

I just wanted to check in with a handful of notes and reminders about what's coming up the next few weeks. Please take a moment to note important dates, mark your calendars, etc!

1. We have a long weekend coming up at the studio! The October long weekend is my favourite of the year, partly because of the food (!) and also because it comes with the opportunity to express our gratitude for the things in our lives that sustain us. The studio will be closed for lessons on October 12, 13, and 14.

2. Thank you to everyone who entered to win free tickets to Roy Thompson Hall as part of Share the Music last month! Keep an eye on your inbox for the next giveaway, which will be coming up in the next few weeks.

3. Does it feel like Halloween season is coming earlier and lasting longer every year? We've noticed that too! A heads up that we are open for lessons on Thursday October 31st and we hope you'll come in costume - we promise there will be treats :) 

4. If you are ever in doubt about whether the studio is open on a given day, please have a look at our studio calendar, which has key dates noted.
